ELECTRIC TIRE-LAND is a sound art project for car tires, bodies and sound objects, designed to be explored and performed with different musicians in local as well as international cooperations.
It is an abstract landscape of tires – teared apart, prepared and amplified they engage in an aesthetic game with a dancer and a musician.
The project focuses on the theme „tires“ and their multiple realities and meanings in different environments and cultural contexts.
Practically and metaphorically the tire is examined: Which stories do you carry in your body? The interplay of all parts carries the tire into a new orbit of senses; through sound and dance a new way of thinking about invention, change, memory and movement is opened up.
